Open meeting law to be topic in Foxboro

FOXBORO - Selectmen have called a special meeting for 6 tonight at town hall to discuss complying with a Norfolk County District Attorney's office ruling.

The D.A.'s office ruled last week that selectmen and the conservation commission violated the state open meeting law by meeting at the Foxboro Dog Park and at town hall on Feb. 18 without public notice.

The boards were directed to create minutes of their discussions with their attorney, Samuel Perkins, and release them publcily within 30 days.
