Top Headlines The free event is open to ages up to 18. The pond will be stocked with $500 worth of trout. Prizes will be awarded in three age categories, there is a raffle, and there will be free hot dogs, soda and bait while supplies last. Fishing equipment other than poles also will be available for use. The pond is located near the Department of Public Works building, and the building department near the senior center. The licenses cost $10 for fixed dogs and $15 for ones not neutered or spayed. Proof of updated rabies vaccination required. Beginning May 1, a $25 late fee per dog will be charged, in addition to the license cost. Besides town hall, one can also obtain dog licenses at the town's rabies clinic, being held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Department of Public Works garage off Taunton Street.
