Pereira, who stunned Needham's No. 1 singles player in the first round of the MIAA Singles Tournament, never allowed KP's Tyler Burks a comfort zone. North (10-4) travels to Stoughton today, while KP (14-2) entertains OA. Kyle Nyskohus scored a straight-set shutout at No. 1 singles as claimed a 5-0 victory over Bishop Stang in an Eastern Athletic Conference match. The Shamrocks (6-4, 5-2 EAC) will host Bishop Connolly on Thursday afternoon. Nate Fuller and Erik Klinkhammer each lost just two games in winning their respective No. 1 and 2 singles matches as scored a 4-1 victory over Case in a South Coast Conference match. Dighton-Rehoboth (8-1) will travel to Bourne for a conference match on Thursday afternoon. Also in the SCC, (1-8) dropped a 3-2 decision to Bourne. Ricky Silva and Nathan Rochefort won their respective No. 1 and 3 singles matches for the Warriors, who meet Apponequet today. Tri-Valley League power Dover-Sherborn handled for the second time this season, handing the Lancers a 5-0 loss. The undefeated and first-place Raiders didn't lose a set in putting this one in the 'W' column.
