Attleboro mother, son get black belts
ATTLEBORO - An Attleboro mother and son have found a new way to spend time as a family by doing something they both love - Martial Arts.
Ellen Ringler and Billy Ringler, last week reached the pinnacle in their training by earning the rank of black belt at America's Best Defense. The achievement is a culmination of four years of hard work, dedication and training.
"Martial Arts training has helped us stay more fit as a family. Even though it's been one of the most challenging things I have ever done, the rewards have been well worth it," says Ellen.
Billy adds, "I love the fact that I know how to defend myself, and I think, my mom being a Black Belt is pretty cool." |
