Post 93 blanks Dedham

FOXBORO - Foxboro High School teammates Jake Lisowski and Joe Clegg combined on a six-hit shutout as the Foxboro American Legion Post 93 baseball team upended Dedham, 5-0, Sunday afternoon.

Lisowski, a senior-to-be at FHS, went the first 52/3 innings, scattering five hits and one walk while striking out one. Clegg, also a senior-to-be, finished up with one-hit relief.

Offense was at a premium as Post 93 scored its first run in the second inning on an error and another in the third on a RBI-single by Nick Thrasher. Another run in the fifth came across as Thrasher scored on a suicide squeeze by John Ford.

Thrasher was the only Foxboro player with two hits. Post 93 (4-3-2) is at Needham tonight.
