City GOP to discuss Palin at meeting on Monday

Vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin will be the subject of a discussion at the Attleboro Republican City Committee meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church Hall.

In honor of the Alaskan governor the committee will offer a tasting of Alaska crab dip and Baked Alaska along with a full dinner of calzones and salad.

After dinner members will offer a short presentation on Gov. Palin followed by an open and lively discussion from the floor of what local voters think.

"Locally Republicans are excited about Sarah Palin and everyone wants to talk about what she adds to the ticket. We have been on the phone with some of the Massachusetts Republican delegates to the convention since Gov. Palin was picked and everyone seems very positive," said Attleboro Republican Chairman Howard Bibeault.
