Foxboro arrests three men accused in theft of beer

FOXBORO - Three men from Foxboro, who allegedly broke into a railroad car and stole 23 cases of Corona beer, have been taken into custody on a warrant following an investigation by local officer Scott Hodson.

According to Police Chief Edward O'Leary, the three - all under the legal drinking age - initially had been arrested in Attleboro when police found 23 cases of beer in their car.

At that time, the suspects told police that someone else had purchased the beer for them at a Foxboro package store. But police said the investigation that followed revealed those claims to be false, and Hodson linked the beer to a break-in involving a railroad car, also in Foxboro.

Identified as Joshua Polion, Ryan Branco and Ryan O'Sullivan, the three were subsequently taken into custody at Attleboro District Court on a warrant for breaking and entering a railroad car and larceny over $250, O'Leary said.

Police did not provide ages or addresses for the men, but said all were under the legal drinking age.
