City garden club to meet

ATTLEBORO - The Attleboro Garden Club Evening Group will meet at the Attleboro Public Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 1.
Karen Taylor of Atypical Farm in Norton will speak on enjoying the garden and its many facets by using the six senses. This meeting is open to the public. Questions? Call Karla Bassler at 508-222-9945.
The club's Day Group will welcome spring on Tuesday, April 7 at Briggs Nursery on Route 152 in North Attleboro.
This is a members-only meeting that begins at 11:45 a.m. Members may bring their own lunches or pre-order a Briggs lunch through Lynn Moore or Jessie Murphy.
The club will hold its annual plant sale at the Attleboro Public Library from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 2, rain or shine. Those with plants to contribute should contact Ann Balser at 508-222-2736.
Funds raised are used for civic beautification projects.
