" I would like to thank all of my supporters for a hard fought campaign and I am sorry we came up a few votes short. This isn't over - I am still for the people and I will continue to fight for them. "

" It is very concerning. My son lives in Wd 1 and had a visit from the new ward one councilor. She basicly tore into her mr Lazzerini, and didn't offer anything herself. I watched her performance during the debate and only the insane could vote for this woman. I will be going back to check party. I am wondering if this was the REPUBLICAN MACHINE at work. If so THE DEMOCRATS had better get their act together and realize that they had better do something.
I can't believe Conti was the top vote getter. Granted he has done a lot in the community but at what price? "

" At least some form of order is kept with the apparent re-election of Mrs. Zito in ward 5. Good luck to us now with a totally inexperienced school committee...just call Frank D'Agostino for any pointers on open meeting laws... "

" LOOK AT THESE RESULTS...are the inmates running the asylum??? This is what happens when you allow 18% of the voting populous and all of the candidates committees to be the only ones who come out in organized fashion to vote. Enjoy the next 2 years OF THIS!!! "
